“Liberation” is curated by Carol-Anne McFarlane. This exhibition is about inspiring acts of resistance, demonstrations of joy, and inspiration towards action. This work expresses personal freedom, joy, peace, love, and celebration of personal and collective achievements. This work shows how we take up space, get involved, and are active in creating a world where we are all valued and appreciated for who we are. This program was made possible by a grant from Our Fund Foundation, an LGBT Community Foundation. Thou Art Woman is a recipient of the Our Fund Foundation 2022 Arts and Culture Grant."

Zipporah Michel is an artist living in Florida. Alumni of New World School of the Arts, Zipporah Michel is a Haitian-American expressionist artist residing in south Florida. Her portfolio is emphasizes on educating audiences on anthropology and social environment. The development of her artwork takes inspiration from the vibrant palettes of the symbolist and Impressionism art style. Art organizations, such as Broward Art Guild as well as ArtServe, Inc. have been deeply enthralled by these portraits of bold colors laced with intricate meaning.
